Frozen Strawberry Sourcing & Documentation

Fresh strawberries bruise easily and last only a few days, and their price and quality swing with the season. IQF strawberries are frozen at peak ripeness, so they stay loose in the bag and deliver the same sweetness and red color all year.

Every order is backed by the paperwork your QA team asks for. Product-specific COAs, allergen statements and facility audit documentation are available on request.

Facility Audits & Certifications

Food safety is where our work starts. Our FSQA team holds every supplier to strict standards, from the soil the product is grown in to how it is harvested, handled, processed, stored and shipped. We work with farms and processing facilities certified to GFSI-recognized standards such as SQF, BRCGS and FSSC 22000, and we verify them with in-house checklists and third-party inspections. We love food, and we source every ingredient as if it were going on our own table. Product-specific COAs, allergen statements and audit documentation are available on request.

Frozen Strawberry FAQs

What frozen strawberry formats do you supply?

IQF whole strawberries, IQF sliced strawberries, IQF diced strawberries and frozen strawberry purée. Custom cuts, pack formats and private label are available on request.

Which frozen strawberry format should I use?

Use whole strawberries for smoothies and beverages. Use sliced strawberries for yogurt, parfaits and desserts where the fruit shows. Use diced strawberries for fillings, sauces and inclusions. Use purée for beverages, sorbets and formulations that need a smooth base.

What does IQF mean for strawberries?

IQF stands for individually quick frozen. Each berry or piece is frozen separately, so it stays loose in the bag and you can portion exactly what you need without thawing the whole case.

Can I bake with frozen strawberries without thawing them?

Yes. Add IQF sliced or diced strawberries to batters straight from the freezer. Thawing first releases juice and can make batters wet and streaky.

How should frozen strawberries be stored and handled?

Keep frozen strawberries at 0°F (-18°C) or colder. Reseal opened cases to prevent freezer burn, and thaw purée under refrigeration. Do not refreeze product once it has thawed.

Why buy frozen strawberries instead of fresh?

Fresh strawberries last only a few days and change in price and quality with the season. Frozen strawberries give you consistent sweetness, color and supply all year, with no hulling and no spoiled fruit.

Can I use frozen strawberries in fruit tea and boba drinks?

Yes. Strawberry purée makes a bright base for strawberry teas and slushies, and IQF diced or sliced strawberries add fruit pieces to the cup.

How do I get pricing or a spec sheet?
